“Yucky” Kale Salad Recipe

Image I am determined to love this salad & include it in my diet on a weekly basis. Until then it is a good practice in “dying to my flesh”. Enjoy!

KALE SALAD RECIPE adapted from Kimberly Snyder

1 head of kale, washed

pink himalayan salt or real salt

broccoli sprouts

1 cup or so chopped tomatoes

1 diced avocado

2 Tb lemon juice


2 shakes ground cayenne pepper

a couple of dashes of dulse, optional

1/2 + Tb nutritional yeast

Tear kale into bite-sized pieces & place in large bowl. Sprinkle generously with salt & then tear & massage the kale for several minutes in order to soften it. Sprinkle with all remaining ingredients & then mix with a fork, pushing the avocado down firmly to break it up. This will kind of serve as your “dressing”.
