This is the yummiest breakfast casserole type dish I have ever made. I can’t wait to make it for company, although I may not can wait that long to make it again!
EASY OVERNIGHT SAUSAGE STRATA

1 lb. ground turkey sausage (you can use pork but I prefer the texture of turkey since pork is so gristly)
6 (1 oz. slices bread), cubed (I used leftover french bread)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground dry mustard
Brown sausage, drain and set aside. Layer the bread cubes, sausage and cheddar cheese in lightly greased 7×11 inch casserole dish. In a bowl beat eggs, milk, salt, and dry mustard. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cube mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight. Remove casserole from refrigerator 30 mins before baking. Preheat oven to 350 and bake 50-60 mins or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
