Building your smoothie
Me: “Look kids, I made you a green smooothhiieee” Kids: “Why is it “dreen”, mommy?”

Kefir is a frugal way to get probiotics into your family. Spinach is a good way to get alot of nutritious stuff in their bods. Hiding kefir and greens inside yummy smoothies is how I roll. They won’t even know what hit them. I’ll be nice and share how I do this, so that you too can roll. You are welcome.

1 cup kefir (or milk if you find yourself lacking kefir…tragic)
2 frozen bananas
2 oranges
handful of either pineapple or mango (frozen or fresh)
3 big handfuls of raw spinach
1-2 Tb coconut oil
splash vanilla extract
maple syrup to taste

Blend everything together and the rest is history in the making.
