I got this wonderful raw recipe from the highly rated ,“Living On Live Food” by Alissa Cohen. I really enjoy adding some raw recipes to my rotations. This made a great breakfast, but would also be good for a snack or treat. Give it a try!
BANANAS, BERRIES, AND CREAM
(I think this recipe could feed 3-4 people a small-medium bowl.)
2 bananas, sliced
1 cup blueberries, if you use frozen set out the right amount on counter for 30 mins or so before making
PINEAPPLE NUT CREAM:
3/4 cup almonds
1 1/2 cup cashews
2 cups pineapple
In your food processor grind the almonds into a fine powder, then add in the cashews & pineapple. Blend until smooth. (I overlooked the directions to grind almonds into powder first, so my pineapple nut cream turned out crunchy instead of smooth, but it still tasted DELICIOUS! Some might even prefer the crunch versus the smooth?)
Put the sliced bananas & blueberries in serving bowls & pour the nut cream over the fruit.
