We are obviously on a big “Buffalo” flavor kick right now. We LOVED this spicy pizza! Incredible flavor! Our favorite crust is the one in my Pioneer Woman Cookbook. I found it online for you here. It always turns out perfect.
Pizza Dough for one pizza (the one mentioned makes two crusts so if you want to do two buffalo pizzas double all the following ingredients or use the other crust for a different topped pizza)
2 grilled marinated chicken breasts (*marinade below)
1/4 cup Frank’s Red Hot Wing Buffalo Sauce
chopped onion, to taste
1/4 cup Feta cheese AND/OR 1/4 cup blue cheese (we did one half of the pizza with just feta & the other half with just blue cheese)
1 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese
*Marinade for grilled chicken:
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup hot pepper sauce (Frank’s Buffalo Wing sauce)
1/3 cup ketchup
2 Tb honey
Bring all to boil over med-high heat. Reduce heat & simmer 15 mins. Cool & use as marinade for chicken.
Preheat oven to 500. Grill chicken. Press dough into cookie sheet. Spread Frank’s sauce over evenly. Top with cooked or grilled chicken evenly. Follow with onion & feta/blue cheese. Then finish with mozzarella. Bake for 9-12 mins.
