Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

These natural, gluten free, high protein, easy cookies taste wonderful! The kids and I loved them & the exciting part…they have no flour or white sugar. My son wanted chocolate chip cookies for his turn on Friday Night Family Fun Night. I am so glad I found this recipe since we no longer keep white sugar in the house & I try to limit our flour consumption.

Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup almond butter (we prefer MaraNatha All Natural No Stir CreamyAlmond Butter)
3/4 cups sucanat (less refined sugar)
1 large egg
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350. Line cookie sheet with either parchment paper or silicone mat. Stir all ingredients together well with fork except chocolate chips. Then mix in the chips. Bake for 10-12 mins. Eat up!
