Hot Ham or Turkey Sandwich With Special Sauce

Sorry for the gross picture, it doesn’t do justice to the yummy sandwich!

These delicious sandwiches from my cookbook, “With Love, From Cynthia” can be assembled the day before – wrapped in foil – then placed in the oven just before lunchtime to heat. Instead, you could also wrap in plastic wrap & microwave. They can also be frozen individually to have on hand for quick lunches. The special sauce can be kept in the fridge indefinitely so if you have extra leftover, keep it!

4 Kaiser rolls or onion buns
1/2 cup butter softened
2 Tb mustard
2 Tb poppy seeds
4 slices of ham or turkey
4 slices of Swiss Cheese
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream together butter, mustard, & poppy seeds. Spread on both sides of funs. Layer turkey or ham with Swiss cheese. Top with bun. Wrap in foil & heat for 30 mins. Makes 4 sandwiches.
