Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce

We first had these killer skewers at our friend’s home in Lamesa, Tx. We went to United Market Street in Lubbock on the same trip to get a bottle of this marinade/sauce so we could make it when we got home. We did make the skewers a few weeks ago when my in-laws were down for a visit. I hope we can find this sauce somewhere in Oklahoma. It is AMAZING!!! I am going to provide 2 recipes. The first one is the simple one that my friends made & that we have made too since. The second has a few more ingredients & is one I found on a site that carries this sauce.

Version #1
serves 4

24 raw jumbo shrimp
24 bacon slices (ea slice cut in half if the bacon is thick)
1 15.75 oz bottle Fischer & Wieser Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce
Simple wrap the shrimp with a half piece of bacon & thread onto skewers leaving a little space in between for even cooking. Place on broiler pan & pour almost half the sauce evenly over the skewers. Broil for about 5 mins. Turn skewers over & pour the other half of the sauce over them, reserving some sauce for dipping if desired. Broil another 5 mins or until bacon is cooked & shrimp is white & cooked. The shrimp should for sure be done within those 10 mins, but you may need to crisp the bacon up a little longer depending on your oven.
Version #2
serves 4
24 large raw shrimp
24 strips of finely sliced bacon (if thick I advise you to cut the slice in half )
1 large fresh lime
1 15.75 oz bottle Fischer & Wieser Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce
Fresh cilantro, finely chopped

Shell and devein shrimp leaving tails on. Wrap each shrimp tightly with one strip of bacon. Thread 6 shrimp on each skewer so that they lay flat on their sides on the grill. Grill on medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes per side until bacon is cooked and shrimp are pink. Spritz with half the lime while on the grill. Remove shrimp to serving platter and spritz with remaining lime. Brush with sauce. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro to garnish.
