1 whole chicken
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can milk (from soup can)
additional chicken broth from box or can (enough to make the liquids able to boil the dumplings in)
1 can of buttermilk biscuits
Place whole chicken in slow-cooker & cook all day long. Season it with whatever you like, I use poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, red pepper, old bay & garlic pepper. Reserve all of the broth that the chicken makes in the cooking process. Pour broth into a large saucepan along with the cream of chicken soup, can of milk & additional canned broth. Add small pieces of the biscuits (I use kitchen scissors to cut each one into fourths) & bring to simmer. Simmer for 20-30 min or until the “dumplings” are not doughy in the middle anymore. Add however much chicken you like back into the pot & warm through.
