This is our favorite salmon pattie recipe.
Salmon Patties with Mustard Sauce
1 can (14 3/4 oz) salmon, reserve liquid
3 cups Rice Krispies
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
2 Tb lemon juice
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayo
1/2 tsp dill weed
2 Tb Dijon mustard
1/4 cup chopped tomatoes, optional for garnish
2 Tb sliced green onions, optional for garnish
1. Place salmon with liquid in large mixing bowl. Remove skin & center bone, if desired & discard. Add remaining salmon pattie ingredients & thoroughly combine. Shape mixture into 6 patties.
2. Coat nonstick fry pan with cooking spray. Place over medium heat. When pan is hot, add patties & cook about 4 min on each side or until browned, turning once. Serve hot with Mustard Sauce.
3. To make Mustard Sauce, combine sauce ingredients. Serve with patties & garnish with tomatoes & green onions if you wish. Sometimes we leave out the dill weed.
